This year’s conference theme calls on us to explore the ways we change our pedagogies and research strategies as Africa itself undergoes tremendous changes. In addition, this year we have linked our conference to one of the most important exhibitions of African Art in the United States. The travelling exhibit of art from ancient Ife (Nigeria) will be at the Indianapolis Museum of Art where we will receive an exclusive welcome and tour, and where we will hold a reception.
